Guest Services Host | Prep CookPosition: Guest Services Host
Reports To: Guest Services Manager
Pay Range : $7.25-$8 DOE
Position Summary:
The Guest Services Host will primarily be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service quality for our visitors and proper handling of all transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Smile. It is essential that all guests are warmly greeted and welcomed with enthusiasm. If we aren’t happy about this place why should they be????
- Arrive on time, well groomed and in uniform for each shift.
- Keep work areas clean and orderly.
- Ensure all public areas and guest services only areas are safe and clean at all times.
- Ensure all transactions are completed with accuracy.
- Ensure all tickets/products are rung up using the proper ticket/product category.
- Interact with guests in the gallery/exhibit areas to ensure their experience is positive.
- Work assignments will be split between ticketing, the gift shop and the café.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned by the Guest Services Manager, Shift Leader or Café Assistant Manager.
- Assist with the production and fulfillment of orders in the cafe.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure food quality.
- Other Duties as assigned.

None.
Qualifications Necessary to Perform the Job:
The Guest Services Host will need to possess previous experience in retail, food service or other customer service role. The candidate should have excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills.
Physical Demands of the Job:
This job requires extended periods of standing and some light lifting; 20-30 pounds.

We need a Prep Cook at The Living Planet Aquarium’s Calypso Cafe
The Living Planet Aquarium is now hiring an outgoing, energetic, and friendly Prep Cook in Sandy. We are looking for a full -time employee. If you like to work in a fun high energy and full service environment, than the Aquarium might be the right job for you.
Our Prep cook will work a rotating schedule with shifts either opening or closing. Working weekends is a must. Some later nights might be required for a catered events Our new Pre cook should have some experience, and a steady work history!! We will train the right person!!
Must be 18 years of age or older. Background verification completed before employment. Food handlers license preferred Starting wage $8.50 an hour
