Story Time
Bring your little one to the aquarium every Sunday – Friday for a special ocean or rainforest themed story time at noon in our coral community.
Saturday Programs
Every Saturday we have live animal and special topic presentations in our education classroom at 12:00 pm, 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm.
Saturdays at 12:00 pm –
Defenders of the Rainforest:
Did you know that there is a place in the rainforest home to a group of animals that all have something in common? They are all SUPER HEROES!! Their individual ‘powers’ allow them to survive in this extreme rainforest environment. During this presentation, the education staff brings out live rainforest animals, such as boa constrictors, parrots, scorpions, tarantulas, and more, and shares how each of these animals survive in the rainforest.

Special Presentations:
Our education department has developed programs on several different topics such as sharks, sea turtles, the deep sea and more! Saturdays at 4:00 pm –
Rainforest Rendezvous:
Every day people hear things like “bats are blind” or “elephants never forget”. We watch turtles in cartoons taking off their shells like jackets and other animals walking, talking, and even falling in love! We’ve even seen people get bit by radioactive spiders and then are able to shoot webs and climb on walls. However, some of these things might not be true. Join our education team as they bring out live rainforest animals and help debunk some of the myths you might have heard about them.
TopPublic Animal Feedings and Demonstrations
