Wonders of the Water Part 1

Join the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium to explore the Wonders of Water! First, we’ll learn all the reasons we love water. Next, we’ll discover the ways people around the world use water, and follow the journey of a water molecule through the water cycle. Finally, we’ll get our glam on by making a fun craft to wear to our water tea-party where we’ll meet some critters who love water as much as we do. Girls will earn their LOVE Water Award through this workshop. Admission to the Aquarium is included. Non-leader parents and siblings must pay separate admission.

Wonders of the Water Part 2

In the second half of our journey, we’ll learn how to be water advocates by choosing a water conservation message to share with others. We’ll design posters, practice public speaking, and learn about our chosen issue before heading to the Aquarium floor to share our message. In true Girl Scout fashion, we’ll teach Aquarium guests the importance of saving water in a respectful way. After communicating about water, we’ll brainstorm ways we can get even more people to listen to our message. After completing the workshop, the girls will be ready to earn their SAVE Water Award and will be just one step away from completing the entire Wonders of Water Journey. Admission to the Aquarium is included. Non-leader parents and siblings must pay separate admission.
