We are not offering School Break Camps at this time. Check back later for future opportunities.
Enjoy Aquarium Camp all year long with programs during days off from school. We offer day camps for Spring Break, Fall Recess, Thanksgiving Recess, and Winter Recess! Spend your school breaks exploring, discovering, and learning with three new camps, featuring seasonal themes and a flexible format.
School break camps are available for purchase on a day-by-day basis, allowing you to customize your camp experience to your schedule. Register for as many or as few days as desired; each day features unique experiences and activities so returning campers won’t repeat programming. Masks covering the mouth and nose are required for campers and staff while indoors.
Flexible scheduling allows you to pick and choose what days to participate: only pay for the days you want. Camps are $70.00 per day, $63.00 per day for Aquarium Members, and include lunch.
Pick Up/Drop Off
Pick up and drop off of campers can only be performed by authorized adults listed on the registration form. Additional authorized adults can be added during camp if needed. For details, see our policies below.
Extended Hours Care
We can provide supervised care from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m., and 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Campers will enjoy age-appropriate free-choice activities. Extended hours must be purchased at the time of registration.
Winter Beach Party
Escape the snow and join us at the Aquarium to discover how the animals spend their winter holidays. With special treats, toys, and puzzles, animal enrichment plays an important role in keeping the Aquarium’s animal residents happy and healthy all winter long. Discover all the ways keepers and aquarists keep things interesting for the animals in their care and carry out a variety of fun enrichment projects.
Each day features unique themes and activities, so your camper has the option to participate in multiple days without repeating programming. Lunch is included with camp registration.
Haunted Aquarium Camp
In this camp, participants will discover that many of the things that make an animal seem strange or scary are actually amazing adaptations to help them survive. Challenge animal stereotypes by getting up close and personal with some misunderstood animals. From pumpkins to skeleton divers and mad science experiments, the Haunted Aquarium camp serves up a lot of Halloween fun!
Each day features unique theming and activities, so your camper has the option to participate in both days without repeating programming. Lunch is included with camp registration.
What do animals eat for Thanksgiving dinner? Spend the holiday break at the Aquarium and find out what it takes to keep our animal residents fed and happy. From training to food puzzles, lots of time and attention goes into planning, preparing, and presenting animal nutrition. Campers will have the opportunity to meet keepers, observe a feeding, and even get to feed an animal themselves.
Lunch is included with camp registration.
Campers must have reached the minimum age by the first day of camp. Loveland Living Planet Aquarium reserves the right to cancel or alter registrations of children registered in camps that do not match their age. Campers must be toilet trained to participate in an Aquarium Camp. Registration for camps will remain open until three weeks before the first day of the camp for which you are registering. No registration will be allowed after the cutoff date.
Loveland Living Planet Aquarium reserves the right to cancel sessions for any other reason. In the event that a session is canceled, registrants will be notified and receive a full refund or be allowed to transfer their registration to another session.
Photo ID is required when picking up campers with no exceptions. Campers may be dropped off no more than 15 minutes before camp start time and must be picked up no later than 15 minutes after the camp end time. Failure to comply with drop off/pick up window may result in additional fees.
If you are no longer able to use your camp spot, registration can be refunded up to two weeks before your camp begins. If you withdraw from camp after that point, we will not be able to issue a refund of any portion of the registration fees. Please consider your payment as a tax-deductible donation.
